Certificate in SFX Makeup Beginners Level 3 – This fantastic Special Effects Makeup course has been created by a makeup artist with years of experience working on well-known television programmes such as Hollyoaks, so you’ll be in good hands. You’ll develop the skills needed to pursue a career in the special effects makeup industry, and will practice creating amazing looks for film and TV. This is a beginner level course, so if you have no experience this will be the perfect introduction. The SFX Makeup Beginner course will walk you through the steps of special effects makeup application process. If you’ve always wanted to become a special effects makeup artist, this course is a great place to start. The course will introduce a number of techniques from basic special makeup effects like balding caps or creating scars. Once you qualify in this course, you will gain a qualification that will give your CV a boost and the opportunity to progress quickly up the ladder.

You will learn to create:

From the day you purchase the course, you will have 12 months access to the online study platform. As the course is self-paced you can decide how fast or slow the training goes, and are able to complete the course in stages, revisiting the training at any time.
At the end of each module, you will have one assignment to be submitted (you need a mark of 65% to pass) and you can submit the assignment at any time. You will only need to pay £19 for assessment and certification when you submit the assignment. You will receive the results within 72 hours of submittal, and will be sent a certificate in 7-14 days if you have successfully passed the course.
Successful candidates will be awarded a Certificate in SFX Makeup Beginners - Level 3. These are printed on high grade paper embossed with official Study365 or Quality Licence Scheme. It is delivered right to your place in a hard back envelope to keep it in pristine condition.
Option 1 -Quality Licence Scheme
At the Completion of this course successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement from Quality Licence Scheme and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course) for only £49.
Option 2 -CPD Certificate
Successful learners will receive an Endorsed CPD Accredited Certificate for only £29.
Learners must be age 16 or over and should have a basic understanding of the English Language, numeracy, literacy, and ICT.
This course will provide you with all the necessary skills to become a Special Effects Makeup Artist. This career is extremely rewarding and means you’ll be working for film, television and theatre companies, and you will have the opportunity to work your way up to high level roles within this industry. On average the starting salary is £20,000, and this increases with experience
